What information can be processed?
When you allow measurement, interaction signals such as page views, approximate device and browser information, campaign source and clicks on the phone, WhatsApp or email link can be measured through Google Analytics. The project summary tool on ad landing pages uses closed options and a short optional free text field. Selections and free text are not sent to analytics; It is only added to the WhatsApp message prepared on your device and does not reach Codeexia until you send it.
Why do we use the information?
We use it to understand whether the content is useful or not, to see technical problems, to evaluate which pages ad campaigns are helping the communication initiative and to avoid spending the advertising budget on irrelevant traffic. We do not consider generic CTA clicks as actual customers or sales.
Google Analytics and Google Ads
The Google Analytics tag is based solely on your analytics consent; Google Ads measurement is also loaded after your ad measurement permission. If Google Ads ID and conversion tags are enabled in the delivery configuration, a phone, WhatsApp, or email click may be measured as a “contact attempt.” Name, phone, email, project summary selections or WhatsApp message content are not sent to Google as analytics event parameters.
Communication links
When you select phone, WhatsApp and email connections, you switch to the relevant device application or service provider. When you come from Codeexi's defined advertising campaigns, the campaign name is; When you use the project summary tool, a random request reference that does not contain personal data can be added to the ready WhatsApp message. When you grant “Analytics + ad measurement” permission, the ad click ID can be added to the canned message to be matched against the request reference and to Codeexia’s secure attribution endpoint if configured. This information is not made a GA4 custom event parameter. The message will not reach Codeexia until you send it on WhatsApp. The processing of the message and contact information you send is subject to the conditions of the channel you choose and Codeexia's communication process.
